Things you might want to clear up first
How do I connect to the machine?+
After provisioning you'll receive access details. Sign into the graphical desktop with your system's built-in remote desktop client, or SSH straight into the terminal. Neither needs a proprietary client from us.
Is the machine mine alone?+
Yes. One machine, one customer — no multi-tenant sharing, and no other accounts ever log into your machine.
Can I install my own software?+
Yes. You have admin rights — install anything, configure autostart, change system settings, just like the Mac on your desk.
What if the hardware fails?+
Hardware failures are handled on-site at the datacenter by us, including replacing the unit. You don't need to contact the datacenter or send anyone yourself.
What's the minimum rental period? Can I cancel anytime?+
Monthly, with no long contract. Just let us know before you stop and we'll help you get your data out.
How is my data kept safe?+
The machine is physically controlled in the datacenter, one tenant per machine, fully isolated. When a rental ends the device is securely erased and reinstalled before the next customer.
